What does pregnancy feel like in it's first stages (first couple of months).?
I've had some odd stomach cramps and tension. And it's concerning me. I've
never had cramps which felt like this before. I know it's nothing to do with
TM, but I was hoping you might still be able to help.

For me, the first several weeks of pregnancy were marked by feeling bloated,
tired, breasts tender, nausea...I don't remember any cramps or tension. That
could be any number of things...best to get it checked out with the dr. Not to
sound morbid or frighten anyone, but just last night I heard of a 28 yr. old
newlywed who had generally not been feeling well for a couple of days but
didn't want to see the dr. -- probably thought she just had some type of flu
-- but she died in her sleep of acute pancreatitis (sp?).
The last few weeks I've been experiencing a tightening of the abdominal
muscles, almost like a mild contraction, and strange muscle movement (I think
the term for that is fasciculations) in that area -- for me it's new to have
that in the abdominal area, but I've experienced it elsewhere. Usually happens
just before falling asleep. Odd!
