I would just like to say thanks to everyone who has replied to my posting on
needing help with transverse myelitis especially to Kathleen Simon, Barbara
H, Jan H, John (thanks for the history very helpful, what symptoms do you
still have?), Gunny, Nora P, Dave and Joan and anyone that posted me info.
I have been back to my doctor and discussed things but they are still not
very helpful he says even if I do have TM it is the same treatment as I am
getting now I have physio and I take baclofen, but I would just like to know
that there is something wrong with me as at the hospital they seem to feel
it is all in my head as I have reflexes. my g.p is slightly more
sympathetic I must admit he is trying to help, I have some movement back in
my legs now and hopefully ill soon be doing a few steps on crutches. Can
nay of you tell em what residual symptoms you have been left with, how many
of you are still in chairs? do any of you have problems with frequency
(urinary) or retention I hope you guys don't mind me asking.
