Barbara, what a blessing that you went when you
did. I know you regret for your boys that he was
still in ICU, but we never know what the time line is
and just look at all the positive things have come a-
bout for the various members of your family. I would
imagine that your presence helped your dad in his
recovery at this point, too. If the Lord is willing, you can
make the return trip and your boys will get to visit with
him.
I'm glad you weathered the trip--I think you are right that
anxiety causes us urninary stress and now that you have
made the trip you know that you can do it again. (certainly
glad for you that the trip back was the better of the two!!)
so you have more confidence in traveling. One thing I do
if I'm going to be traveling, is I limit the amount of liquids I
take on the previous day and drink very little coffee prior to
trip--this seems to help.
Know that after taking a short trip you have laundry etc to
get caught up with plus your moving plans must weigh heavy
on your shoulders. The positive feelings that you have come
home with will help with what you are facing, just don't try to
do too much at once. My thoughts are with you and I am so
glad that you have had such a positive experience. Know that
we all care--JanH
