Thanks. One problem is that that no one can reply to that list and he
did not
give his e-mail address. I am a member off that SCI LIST and I can send
e-mail to it. If your brother or his significant other can e-mail me, I
will see that it gets back to the SCI LIST.

I am sure the guy will; appreciate it.

Dear Bob:

I hope you don't think I forgot about poor Mugur in Romania, I didn't.
My brother in Atlanta is working on his end through the Shephard Spinal
Center to see if they can help. This is from his first message: "My
true hope is that they have some kind of outreach program for people who
are in his situation and they can help him either with $ or supplies. It
is a very-well known hospital for people with spinal issues and they
appear to have alot of money. I have called twice to 2 different people
and have yet to hear back from them. I will wait until Tuesday and bug
them again." He sent me another message stating: "I decided first
thing Monday would be the best time to try and reach people so I didn't
wait. Just got off the phone with the Coordinator of Vocational Services
at Shepherd. She is going to forward Mugur's original email to
several different people within the Center and see if anyone can offer
him some help. She will get back to me with whatever info she can find.
I will keep you posted. After I wrote you last night I got an email from
Eve and she said she was going to be sending me the addresses that she
had gotten. I told her if she wanted she could just send them to you so
be on the lookout. I think that if anyone can find help for him it is
going to be Shepherd so I will be anxious to hear what they can do".

And last, but certainly not least, is the e-mail from Eve in Romania with
the first address.

lor,

hey! i finally got one address for you and should be getting another one
any day now. sorry it took so long, i had to wait for one of the doctors
to find the number, then when i called their office they barely spoke any
english so i had to wait for a fax to be able to understand their
address.

anyway, here's one for now: Hilfe fur Kinder--Dana Stancu
Piata Horatiu nr. 3
1900 Timisoara Romania
telephone/fax--0050-56-201927

hope this helps! that poor guy sounds like he is having a very rough
time of it which is very understandable. they have not incorportated the
american disabilities act yet over here :). so many things that we
take for granted in the states are a luxury over here. i have seen a few
wheel-chair accessible bathrooms but no ramps, etc.

soon as i get the other address i'll send it on.

Bob,

>From your original message it appears that Mugur did give his e-mail
address as follows: unofficial address: euxin(AT)starnets.ro and
official address: mugur(AT)mindless.com. If this is not correct, let
me know. Unless and/or until I hear from you otherwise, we will pass the
information through you.

All of us on this end hope that Mugur will be able to get some much
needed help. Please convey to him that our thoughts and prayers are with
him and we will keep plugging away for more addresses, etc. and pass them
along.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Lori (in Florida); Clint (in Atlanta) and Eve (in Romania) :>)

P.S. I also wanted to thank you for all the articles you forward to the
tmic list - even though I don't have many of the problems they usually
address I like to be informed since you never know what might happen down
the line - especially with TM eh?!

P.P.S. I decided to go ahead and send this e-mail to the list as well
since there may be someone else out there who could use this information,
if not now, maybe in the future. This way it will be part of the tmic
archive.
