Hi Bill. I'm from St. Louis also. My brother has had TM since Feb 6. He is
recovering ever so slowly but is still in a wheelchair & in St. Mary's. It
seems that when he gets "down" so low, all of a sudden something new will
start to work to give him encouragement. One thing I've learned from all of
the research we've done, whether it be from the internet or from SLU's medical
library, is that everyone's recovery is different...different levels and
different rates. really keeps us guessing. there seems to be so many different
ways to try to lick this thing...chiropractors, acupuncturists (by the way I
can reccommend one), physical therapy etc. you never can give up hope since
there are even new remylinating methods waiting to be approved by the FDA. All
of you need to "hang in there" together. You sound like a great son-in-law.
There are a few of us from St. Louis if you need some referrals. Good Luck.
