> Claudia in IdahoHi Claudia, Baclofen is an antispasmodic, (works to prevent spasms in
muscles) I take it 5 times a day in a pill form, however some people
with severe spasms have a pump implanted under the skin that delivers a
small regular dose continuously into the spine. I had muscle spasms so
bad before I started using it that my back and rib cage were in constant
pain from the tightening sensation caused by the spasms. Now I feel
much better. I still have spasms occasionally but more when I don't use
my meds on schedule. Joellen
