Bill, Jan H here. Celebrate every sign of progress
and continue to promote more succcess with a
positive attitude! Of course every change is a sign
of progress and should be seen as such by the tm
person and her total support group. I don't think that
the time line of the patient can be compared to that
of any other tm'er, just as every symptom is individual
so is the improvement or rate of such. I thank The Man
upstairs for each little change and asked for help with
the next one on a daily basis!
Hope that your tm'er has been able to enjoy the spring
in your area..we just returned from a visit south of there
and the beauty of the hills with the Redbud and Dogwood
trees was breathtaking and gave another reason to be
thankful. I do know that I stop to appreciate these things
more than I did when I was "too busy" which tm showed
me what was more important and for that I am thankful too.
I'm rattling on and not sure that I've helped you with your
questions. In my opinions, your mother-in-law is working
her way back--we just don't know how far she will come and
in my thoughts, whatever she regains is something to give
thanks for. My thoughts are with youall as you work thru
this. JanH
