itching & burning

Haven't posted in a while . . . . my dad, you might remember is 77 and
got TM 6 months ago. He's home but has been experiencing terrible
itching, burning on his back, chest and arms. It's above where he the
TM starts. Because of it, he's not able to sleep and is quite miserable.
Is this TM related? And if so . . . any ideas to help it? At times, it
seems like Aloe Vera helps . . . . sometimes calomine lotion or baths but
last couple of days, nothing has seemed to ease it and he's beside
himself. So hoping someone might have an answer for me? THANKS!
