Hi Martin ~
You're right....it's only a temporary solution (remedy)....but I'll try
almost ANYTHING to get even temporary relief from this excrutiation
pain!!
My wheel chair doesn't have the ability to do anything such as the
seat-to-back angle but fortunately I only have to use it when I leave
the house.
Around the house I use a walker....but in the past few days I have been
getting around without it except for when I first wake up. Everything
seems to stiffen up during the night and I can barely walk when I first
get up. After that I can walk pretty good...but then the pain starts
from walking.
My PT is the one that told me about the rubber ball trick. She also
told me to put the ball on the floor and roll it around with my foot.
She says when I start walking outside it will help with my balance (such
as walking in the grass since it's not a flat surface).
Thank you for writing. Time for PT!!! :)
