Yes, Bill had a very bad reaction to elavil when he first could not
walk. In fact, he
even blamed the medicine for the "not walking" at first. Then, a few
years later he had a bad reaction to doxepin taken along with neurontin
(gabapentin) and I believe doxepin is similar to elavil. I don't know
what medicine he would recommend
but I haven't read everyone else's posts as yet so maybe someone had a
suggestion.
