Nora:

I agree with the sentiments expressed in your post. Ken has every right to
express his beliefs but the tmic-list should be a source of individuals who
will correspond with him on an individual basis. I hope that the list will
remain a source of support and information for a wide range of individuals.

I used to follow the scipin postings until they became a public forum for
personal agendas. I was delighted to find the tmic-list which fulfils my
need for information and the amount of time I can spend at the computer. I
have made contact with people who share my interests and communicate with
them directly rather than sending e-mail to everyone on the list.

My only regret about not having time to follow the scipin posts means that
I will miss the the informed and always useful comments of Dr. Wise Young,
who always takes time to write to all individuals who ask questions about
their individual situations.

To date I have found the TM-ers a caring group who provide support and
information to others that have to deal with this rare and potentially
devastating illness. Collectively they know much more than any individual
MD and can cover time spans from the initial illness to more than 30 years
post TM. I would like to think that we can keep it that way.

David.
