Have they done another MRI after this relapse? That would show if there are
any new lesions -- if so, that may be where the MS diagnosis came from. There
have been many conversations here in the past about the relationship between
MS and TM. Some of us were told that TM could "turn into MS." Some drs. say TM
is a one-time occurence and another occurence would indicate MS, but many on
the list here have had relapses without the diagnosis being changed to MS.
It's hard to know! I haven't had any experience with interferon -- hopefully
if someone else on the list has they will post an answer. I have wondered if
drugs used for MS would help with TM since they seem to be so closely related.
