Upper Michigan has always interested me. In fact my favorite trivia question
is...which state has the longest shoreline? The answer is Michigan but
everyone always answers Florida or California. It seems like a beautiful state
but is it too cold in the winter? St. Louis has the best of both worlds. We
can get extreme cold in the winter or heat & humidity in the summer and
anything in between. & the weather could change by the next day. I especially
love spring since I own an exterminating co. there are many more bugs in st.
louis than in michigan. everyone has ants in their kitchen & bathrooms these
days. $$$
Greg has gotten more leg movement over this weekend. no finger movement
though. We;re still waiting to see if the insurance co. is going to kick him
out soon. my other brother is trying to find him a temporary first floor
apartment. they feel it is best if he doesn't come to my house unless his
improves greatly. for some reason Greg & I still clash. he is threatened by
everything I say. yet he calls 3 times a day to talk. He is starting to do
some work since he can do this from his bed with the help of my son. He says
he hates the stress. I don't treat him like he's sick so I have been making
him do more phone calls etc. I think he should be interviewing the attendant
that will be staying with him temporarily. It's been 2 months now. the lesion
was a large one extending from c5 through t6. (i think) the mri has improved.
His attitude stinks. He thinks being crippled is the worst thing in the world
and he is so ashamed of himself that he can't walk. I think it's a "guy thing"
so I don't make any comments.
Sorry so long!!
Jake seems to have "control" of this thing which is so important. does he ever
get to mingle with other kids in wheelchairs and share common problems? is he
continuing to improve? I hope so. enjoy the weather. Christi
