I have found the medication given for this symtom are almost debilitating, so
we (doctors) have opped to use different solutions, I have the same burning
in my feet, and somtomes my legs, numbness seems to be more of a problem along
with 'lightening' shooting pains' . Here are 2 solutions I have found, there
are 'gel insoles' you can place in the freezer that help greatly, (by the way
they do not go in with out being in there hermetically sealed bag.LOL. ) The
other solution is I have found that a compound cream made up by your pharmacy
can reduce this, this ia what they used to do waayyyy back in the corner drug
story. They (doctors for sports teams) found a way to make creams that are
obsorbed through the skin ( skin is the largest organ, something I did not
know) the compound contains anti spamsmotic, anti-inflamitory, and a
substance normally used for coughting, that stops the reoccurance of the
burning for several hours.
