I have tried just about eveything the neuro's can give, oddly I have found
that most of the time the down side out ways the good. Most of the neuro meds
put me in bed most of the time. One time about a year and half ago I was
given baclofen (sp) , while trying to ajust to the side effects I scared
everyone to death, not to mention emmarasssed myself. It was about 3 o'clock
in th eafternoon and I had yet to get out of bed when my father stop in to
check on me. He says I looked straight at him and ask in " about the firemen
in the room, and would he ask them to be quiet. I later lost a few of the
side effects while continueing to take the neuros ans while shopping for a
swim suit for PT, I lost controil of everything, how embarassing, (on the
elevator and there are few places to flee in a 10 x 12 moving room) Thank God
for my best friend, who took me to her new home to try to regain my composure,
as I left I needless to say, made a deposit on her new welcome mat. I have
since done a much different approach to TM and I have a very rewarding and as
normal as it can be. I had to be a guinee pig first, but I say if it works
for you do it , but if the bad outweights the good , talk to your doctor and
try something new. Quality of life is great and the way to get there is to
do what is best for YOU. I can beleive I just shared this story but it's just
us.
Kindest regards,
Beth
