Sharon and all: To answer your question about neurontin (gabapentin)
Bill has drowsiness with it - really bad at times. He only takes the
300's twice a day or even only once a day now. At first, the dose was a
lot more....but he had some really bad problems off and on that he
thought "might" have been caused by the neurontin. There were a couple
of people on here a while back taking that medicine so maybe they will
answer, but one hasn't posted in a long time.
His Doctors at the VA Hospital seem to feel that neurontin is a
really good medicine. Bill feels that it helps settle his stomach (it's
not really known for that)...but he really doesn't like taking it. IN
fact, that is the whole reason we signed on this board originally - to
see how people were doing on neurontin.
Let us know when you go for the MRI.
