Hello and Help

My name is Kathy and I have a dear friend who is in the hospital at
the moment, paralyzed from her chest down. The doctors have run every
test possible and each test has come back negative. They are telling
her it is Transverse Myeopathy. about 48 hours ago, she had some
tingling and then less than 2 hours later, she was paralyzed. At this
moment the doctors are pumping her with steroids for 5 days and then
they are talking rehablitation. We are all so shocked and stunned. She
has a 5 yr old and a 7 month old at home and we know nothing about this
Myelopathy. Could you please send me some information or at least let
me know where I can go to find out more about all of this? Any help
would be so very greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I will be busy
reading through the posts to see what I can see. Thanks again.
