Thank you, thank you;

I'm not taking chances, my daughter will see a doctor about this rash
today.
It was frustrating speaking to my x wife about a possible second episode
of Chicken Pox.

Yes I said I knew she has had chicken pox before but she can have it
again.
"But it's just a rash from the hot tub" she said.
I understand that, but do you understand I am in a wheelchair?
"I told her to tell her swim coach it's just a rash; don't worry Dave".
Do you understand I am in a wheelchair from an illness that most doctors
have never seen. She could have Shingles which is in the same family. Is
the rash painful?
"No"

[My daughter comes on the other line]

Jessi is the rash sore?
"Ya" she says
Then get to the doctors tomorrow.
"Can I go to the swim meet just to watch?"
It would be a good day to rest and to watch out for
..................and tell the doctor...........

I maybe over reacting but the old sayings are all true. [Better to be
safe than sorry]
I'll be one worried man for the next few weeks. But Jessi will be cared
for in a manor that suits me and no doctor will brush me off.

I am an aggressive person by nature and have been exposed to the medical
profession sense I was eleven when my mother was first diagnosed with
Breast cancer. Through to her death from the same cancer in ninety
three. Not to mention myself.

Even so there is so little to hang your hat on, so to speak. Other than
my own fears of thinking Jessi is in a risk group and showing some signs
of increased risk.

I have learned that if you walk into a dark alley and feel fear. That
it is a good thing only if you listen to it. Right now I am all ears.

Thank you and God bless you all;
Davej

ps: Just how could one be better prepared other than know the nature of
tm? For instance how could one be proactive, that is as in preventative
medicine? Like a half aspirin a day to help your arteries. I don't
trully expect an answer but after all "here I go" an ounce of
prevention is worth a pound of cure.
