I see your point and your frustration, DC.
What I am trying to say is simply that everything isn't
necessarily somebody's fault. Even in cases where a health
care professional has caused or contributed to a problem
(minor or major), it doesn't mean that it is fair for us to
"sue their pants off".
Please be aware that we live in the most litigious society
in the western world, where we more and more want to
punish/hold responsible somebody for everything that happens
to us. And the damages litigants sue for is getting
completely preposterous! Where do these dollar figures come
from?

Life happens and so does sh..t. Lets take responsibility
for some of it and also contribute some of it to faith or
luck. Sometimes people will do you wrong, true, but unless
we cool our desire for "making somebody pay" our health care
sector and insurance industry (not to mention our own
dignity!) will continue to deteriorate.
