I received my first flu shot in 1962. I did receive several shots for
travelling overseas to prevent????????? whatever. I contracted TM in 1989.
Had my second flu shot approximately five years ago and two years ago. For
me, I don't feel the flu shots had anything to do with my contracting TM.
However, I have had several doctors ask about my travelling to foreign
countries/islands--expecially Jamica.
I do know I get very sick after having flu shots. As a result, I won't do it
again. I would be particularly concerned about another onset of TM from my
immune system being out-of-wack if I did (for some reason) have to have a flu
shot or shot for travelling. This info has been gathered from the postings
from TM members and relates to their concerns about their particular health
problems.
