Aurore:
I still do not understand why you just cannot call it Transverse
Myelitis? Why must an abbreviation be used at all? Also, as I just
pointed out to a friend of mine. I do not have a
myelitis but myelopathy. You in fact have myelopathy if you did not
suffer any swelling. And sense my inflammation is no longer present, I
too now suffer myelopathy.
Now sense you mentioned cases being different. All spinal cases are
basically different, sense we are speaking about nerve damage. And nerve
damage comes in a wide array.
So I guess to answer your question. I would have to say we are acute and
subacute suffers of TM.
Or I could more accurately say I suffered from demyelinating transverse
myelitis/ myelopathy. = DTM
