You bring up a very good point,and if I may add,your respected and
valuable responses to the list are appreciated by all.
The intention for a "new" term is to take TM and color it enough to
enable the delegation to Washington D.C. to better catch the ear of Congress.
It seems we are
leaning toward the TMS term. Simply because "it's seems to be the best way to
expand the term "TM" and still keep within the realm of defining all
Transverse Myelitis patients.
To answer your question,I don't look at the "term" change as going
beyond our boundary. I do wish to take advantage of any window of opportunity
to get funding for research. If a small addition to the term is helpful; I'll
take it.
