Judi - I agree with you. If I make any money, I want it to go to people
who do not have insurance or have cheap insurance companies who won't
pay for the best equipment. Specifically, I want the money I make to go
to helping people purchase motorized wheelchairs. I was getting rotary
cuff injuries but had a great doctor who went to bat for me with the
insurance company handling my claim. But my heart was saddened becayse
I met too many people in pt who were getting rotary cuff injuries from
regular wheelchairs but could not afford motorized ones. I met people
in other pt support groups in the same situation. I met poor people in
the street and on the bus who had very old, worn-out wheelchairs. It's
bad enough being in a wheelchair without getting injured more because
capitalism is the ideology in this society that makes it impossible for
most people to get the equipment they really need. The wheelchair I
have cost $5,000 and that is absolutely ridiculous. Let me get off this
soap box. (I've got much to write in this book about things like that -
health care and lack thereof is also a part of the story.)

But I also know that some people who write may need the money
themselves. That's why I figure everyone has to do their own thing in
their own conscious. I wish I were a millionaire. I would devote my
money to TM research. Hope I didn't offend when I sent you my message.
