My TM was ascending in both senses--starting at the feet and progressing up
my body and becoming more severe over a period of a couple of weeks.

I also said to my friend who brought this TM-initial thing up in the first
place that we could just use the full term with strangers. But there is a
natural tendency to use an abbreviation if you discuss something very much,
and we would like folks to discuss TM more. . .
