If it were fungal, tea tree oil would help. It's also an antiseptic and
analgesic, although it stings at first before the analgesic takes effect.

Hi to all,
I'm having a problem with an infection or something around my toenail.
At first it was on just inside of the great toe around the nail then it
has gone to the outside. We have soaked it in epsom salt and cleaned it
with peroxide then triple antibiotic salve. The Dr. said to stop the
salve and gave my antibiotic pills. This has not helped at all infact
it is now starting on the next toe. The great toe now bleeds on both
sides after we soak it. Has anyone had anything like this. I was
thinking it was from poor circulation and have kept my leg up, still no
help.
