Jeff - I have had considerable recovery. I never did lose control of
bowel/bladder completely - just couldn't feel the urge to go for awhile,
so I had to be careful to remember to go to the bathroom occasionally.
That has cleared up. I can walk, but have residual tingling which
becomes quite painful after a block or so. I use a handicap placard,
and take lots of sitting breaks when walking is required. My
walk-a-thon days are definitely over......
