Ann, Jan H here. Altho' I have had skin
problems all my adult life, I never had
shingles until I had TM. Shingles seem
to follow nerve routes and mine were in
such a pattern on my buttocks and upper
legs. One dr found them during a scope
exam and when my dermatologist saw
them she said it was the best case of
shingles she'd ever seen!--good dose of
breaking out and NO pain due to numb-
ness brought on by TM! She said the only
medication for shingles is for the pain that
they cause and of course I didn't need that!
That's the only skin problem that I''ve had
that a dermatologist didn't give me meds for.
I definitely think that shingles was related
to fact I had TM.
