TM & Vaccines

When my first child was born some 25+ years ago, our schools locally were
implementing the "no vaccines - no school" policy and I did a lot of
investigating at that time and made the decision NOT to immunize him.
He's grown into a healthy man and throughout his young life and even to
this day, he's NEVER sick. I should say RARELY. He's NEVER missed a
day of work or school because of illness. When I had my daughter 8 years
ago, I made the same decision and I feel that by NOT immunizing, I'm
allowing her body to heal itself by not contaminating it with antibiotics
or vaccines and I'm serious when I say that she'll sometimes not feel
well in an evening and I think she's coming down with something and
she'll maybe go to bed early that night and awake in the morning
completely WELL. I can almost see her own body fighting this illness.
But this is MY belief. If people ask, and they do, I'll tell them
exactly how I feel but it's every person's right to their own beliefs.

My father, at age 77 got TM. He had NEVER had any vaccinations or ever
taken ANY antibiotics of any kind during his WHOLE LIFE. He was under
MASSIVE stress for the previous 9 months - - a stress that "consumed" his
life.

It is my opinion (and that and 50 cents will buy you a cup of coffee)
that in some cases it could very well be the vaccines which weakened the
body's own anti-immune ability or in some cases, like my father - - it
was the stress that did this. In his case, there could be NO drugs or
vaccines that were a contributing factor. For some other people, I
wonder if it WAS the stress and a flu shot . . . but SOMETHING altered
the body's make-up in order for this TM to happen.

Barbara: I would imagine taking the info to your peditrician will be met
like I did . . . with TOTAL resistance. Recently we moved to another
state and I was worried that what I had done to NOT allow my daughter to
be immunized would not be received by the new state. We had to have a
physical in order to enter the new schools and when I took my daughter
(and keep in mind I had HEATED debates about immunizing my daughter with
the doctor ) the doctor was filling out the form and looking at her chart
and she says . . . . "Ok, gee, we haven't seen Elizabeth for 4 years! .
. . . . and immunizations . . . . . she didn't have them according to our
charts?" I quietly answered "that's why you haven't seen her in 4
years". I don't mean to be cold here but talking to doctors about this,
which is a money maker for them, doesn't get you anywhere. If
