I warned my friend at lunch today. At least the flu shot is optional, and a
choice one can make. My TM came out of the flu (and several relapses from
going back to work too soon), but my doctor said it could have been ANY
virus, such as a cold, HIV, or chicken pox. One thing that happened after I
got TM was that my coworkers started taking better care of themselves if
they got a cold or the flu instead of stoically going back to work sick (at
least temporarily). I'm allergic to flu shots anyway, but I started keeping
oscillococcinum (sp?) on hand to take immediately if I got any flu symptoms,
just in case.
