Way to go Lynn!!! Melanie is walking better with the walker, but like
you, she is very sore and has muscle pain. We are using Arnica Gel and
tablets instead of Ibuprofen, as it is too hard on her stomach. She has
the heart and determination of a champion though. She does not yet have
the bladder control, but how can she tell with the Foley (Cath)in? Her
visiting nurse mentioned something about retraining the bladder by tying
off the cath tube with a rubber band and letting it go after 30 minutes.
She said to do this several times a day to retrain the bladder. Anyone
ever heard of this?

Thanks,
Pat & Mel (San Jose, CA)
