<< Good morning all ~ I've had tm for 34 days now (but who's counting?)
:)...and last night after I went to bed I felt like a space heater was blowing
on my feet! I was just wondering if anyone else had felt that...and if so,
is it going to go on forever??????

Lynn (and all):
Ah yes...the famous space heater feeling (said "Get Smart" style--anyone
remember that??). Yes, I have that feeling, often combined with a freezing
feeling. Nice combination, huh? Most of us on the list will mention the
freezing/burning feeling from time to time. I have only had TM since Labor
Day 1997 so I don't know how long this will last, but it is definately a
bummer isn't it?
My (now adult) foster daughter has diabetes and has Diabetic Neuropathy. A
doctor told her to use Capsacian (sp?) on her feet to "confuse the nerves."
Capsacian is like BenGay stuff. Well, she used it and thought she would die
because it hurt so much. Several months after my attack of TM I twisted my
knee and decided to rub some Banalg (again like BenGay) on it. I have used
Banalg for years and years, but that was the first time I used it after having
TM. The burning was so intense that I felt like crying. I tried to wash it
off but that only made it worse. Then I started shaking with the chills and
had to go to bed and cover up with all the blankets I could find. I shook and
my teeth chattered, and all the time my knee burned like fire. Has anyone
else had a similar experience?
