I had a flu shot October 9, 1996 and by the end of October 1996, you guessed
it, once again had ascending paralysis set in, but this time it went all the
way up to my face, and they called it Guillain-Barre Syndrome. There is a
KNOWN connection between GBS and flu shots. In fact, literature distributed
with flu shots typically warns persons with a history of neurological
problems not to get one until they consult with their physician. In my case,
I never got this warning (yes, I am suing).
