-Hi, everyone it's julienne again, I tried to leave but I didn't even do
that right, so I returned to 533 e-mail messages. Among them were several
kind souls wanting to hear more about 4-ap and cytoxin. So, I will continue
to subscribe (I am addicted to this list anyway) but bear with me if I take
a while to answer!

I have been on 4-ap for about three months, on and off. It seems to improve motor and sensory function about 20% in me, but WATCH OUT!!! After two months easing up to 10 mg 2x/day I increased the dosage to 15mg and ended up in the emergency ward unable to breathe and with severe convulsions of face and hands. On the other hand, I have a friend who is on 20mg x 2 and he is just fine. What I'm saying is that the side-effects really vary - ease into it slowly!

On that note, here's how you get it. You need a perscription from your Dr. and then Ron at Triad pharmacies mails it to you. It costs about $50/month. If your Dr. knows nothing about it or needs more info, my neuro's name is Dr. David Brandes, and he has prepared a fact sheet about it. He's here in L.A. (AT) (818) 349-2503. Triad's # is(800)851-7900. Ron may know a doc in your areas who can oversee your case. Good luck, watch those side effects and let me know if you have any questions.

I'll try to keep in touch with the list - after I sort through my 533 e-mails!

Love to all, Julienne
