Phil, thanks for compiling this information - it should prove very
interesting.

#1 - Age at onset - 40 yrs old - onset April '97. Began with
tingling/numbness in feet ascending over a period of 3 - 4 weeks to band
like sensation at chest level (T5-6).

#2 - Stress level - usual stress accompanying working full time with a
very busy home life. Particularily stressful 1 - 2 months prior to onset.

#3 - Vertebrael injuries - none. Experienced tension and strain between
shoulder blades while using computer at work - was told it was "stress".

#4 - Vaccinations - none.

#5 - Flu-like illness - Yes, had a wicked flu for about 10 days 2 - 3
weeks prior to onset with extremely sore throat.

#6 - Rashes - none

#7 - Possible health risks - none, although I've heard southern Ontario
(Canada) has a high incidence rate of people afflicted with MS.

Other health problems prior to TM -

- Gallbladder surgery June '89
- Ovarian cyst removed June '92
- Diagnosed with hypothyroidism (inactive thyroid) in '94
- Diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in Feb '97 - neuro is unsure if
this is connected to the TM.

Hope this helps.
