My name is Joel and I was hit by TM August 30, 1996.
Although stress may not be the complete cause of TM, I think it helped
to lower the immune system for other things to happen. Also if you had a
cold or allergy prior to the onset, this too can lower the immune system.
The way I see it is babies perhaps do not have all their immune ststems
working
in full force. I'm not sure, but isn't the age of 12 months the time when
their immune
systems are supposed to be working in full force?
I wish we had the answer as to way exactly we got this damm thing, but maybe
one day they will have and answer and find a cure or alility to block it from
happen-
ing.
