Barbara,
Yes, I have experienced the same type of "numbness". I am pianist,
and one day I was in rehearsal, and my left hand went numb. It was like
this for about an hour, and then went away. This happens once in a while in
my feet. It worries me, but when it goes away after a while, I don't worry
about it too much after that. I have an appointment with a neurologist
Monday and I plan to ask him a million questions, including this.
