Nora in Chicago:

In my experience with TM, walking has been permanent. I got TM in 1992.
It took me almost 2 years to walk again (with a brace on my right leg
and a cane). The ability to walk has remained and I hope that it does.
The weather does not have too much of an impact. I am really bothered
by heat in the summer because of the sweating under the brace and having
to wear pants all the time so the brace does not dig into my leg.

Best wishes to you!
