Nora, Jan H here. I didn't have a stressful
period prior to onset of TM, but my immune
system was low due to prior health problems
and my dr felt that that was a factor in my
susceptibility(sp).
Heavy stress has a major effect on the immune
system, thus making one more susceptible.?.
