Bob,
I have went most of the route that you are taking with the bladder.
I have been to 5 different specialists, and 4 out of the 5 recommend not
being on antibiodics(sp?) for an extended period of time. My body got so
immune to the Macrobid, that my bladder soon formed a new bacteria that took
about a month to get rid of with really powerful medications. I am no
longer cathing because my bladder is too spastic. I don't know if I have
been of any help, but that is my experience with it.
