I had my TM attack last Labor Day Weekend. I was also one of the lucky
ones--no paralysis, no hospitalization. The numbness went away in October.
Then it came back in November for a few days. The same thing happened several
other times. Then the weekend of Jan. 16th the numbness came back again and
hasn't left. This time I am numb almost all over--face, ears, neck, back,
parts of my arms/hands, legs, feet. The worst is my abdomen down and up my
backside. The last time I saw my neuro he said he was not concerned about the
numbness unless it came and didn't leave. I guess I should call him--it has
been nearly a month. Anyway, the neuro said he was most concerned about a
possible loss of bladder or bowel function. If I talk to my doctor this week
I'll let you know what he says about the numbness. But, in the past he has
had a "wait and see" attitude.
It is a scary thing.....Hang in there!
