The brand new findings regarding nerve fiber damage in MS suggest that
"early treatment with currently available agents that reduce
inflammation and lesion formation may help forestall the development of
nerve fiber loss and slow progression of disability. Since we (TMers) as
a group are at a higher risk to develop MS it may be wise to talk with
your neurologist about starting up the use of an anti-inflammatory like
prednisone. These new findings have surprised even the experts who
thought it was only the myelin that was damaged. Damage and loss of
nerve fibers are also involved!

How about them apples!
