I am a sufferer of tranverse mylitis since Sept 93. I undertake pain
relief by having injecctions of mylacaine above and below my lesion at
t4/t5. I am aparaplegic as the onset of the symptoms took place over a
period of 6 hours after a bout of an unknown viral infection. I take
Ditapan as a form of bladder control, but I am prone to bladder
infections. I self cateritisation and use Milton tablets as a cathiter
disinfectant.
