My Mothers TM

My mother came down with TM in May of 97. It was just the upper body and she
was recovering just fine up until the day after Thanksgiving. She woke up
and could not walk, well they put her in the hospital for a month and said
the TM has now moved down the spine. Well she had to go back in for another
spinal tap and when we asked the doctor why he said he does not think that
it is TM. He thinks it is acting like lupus, even though the test have all
come back negative. The reason for his thinking is because in May her white
blood cell count was 200 and this time its 400. Has anyone else had high
