Chris has been in recovery from TB and doing well, even returning to work
when he fell off of his forklift last Thursday. He fell on his buttocks and
did not hit his head. A couple of days later he ends up in the hospital
unable to move his legs, urinate or move his bowels. He has had "pins and
needles" and initially was able to move his toes. That ability disappeared
but has come back after two sessions of physical therapy.
The only thing that the Doctors have told Chris is that he has a virus ot
the spinal column. They are evasive about his chances of or degree of
recovery to expect.
Can any one on this list help us to understand what transverse myelitis is
and the tx for it?
We will be very greatful for any help that we can get.
Thank you in advance
