Rudy, Jan H here. Isn't that a terrible feeling!! I told
this group it was the BRA GOD getting even with me
because I hated to wear bras and now I had the tightest
there was ever made!(LOL) But have faith, it finally goes
away--at first I feared I couldn't breathe and it scared me
desperately. My Urologist told me that the band was
where the nerve damage ended. I am still 'numb' to the
touch from that point down. That's on the outside, on the
inside I have the burning pain constantly in the legs and
pain off and on in the lower back. The pain comes, I think,
as feeling returns--sad thing is the pain is the only feeling
that has come back.

I agree with Joel when he told you that he thought that the
feelings were those of the TM not from your spinal--of course
we're all just learning as we go along with this as there is
little info available about TM. You will get more help from
this group than anywhere else to my way of thinking.

You say that your lower back is sensitive to touch--I can
touch myself and don't feel anything but if I bump into some-
thing or am touched I get a very bruised sensation. All of
this is so hard to explain to dr or helper!

Sorry that you have to suffer from this but am glad that you
found this group as it is very nice to have people who under-
stand what you are going through and also who understand
the questions you have. We're all in this together--we're all
learning as we go. Keep in touch. Write if you have other
questions. I'm sure that you'll get several responses.
