Yes, a combination of Cytoxin (a chemo drug) and ACTH, given over two weeks or
so in the hospital will lower your white blood cell count down to the point
where your immune system will "turn off" ...hopefully not to go into over
drive again. It was a miserable treatment, but it got me back on my feet, and
that's worth jusat about any misery. A couple of other notes -0 I'm now on
4-AP and it does seem to help with function and sensation return.
the downside is that when the spasms come they are kick-ass! Knock you right
off your feet.
Reluctantly, I'm going to have to unsubscribe from the list after over a year.
There seems to be a trend currently of a few people answering everyones
postings personally, and/or quoting entire letters. I have been getting
something like 300 e-mails a week, and I just don't have the time to wade
through all the repeat mail. I'll sign back on when I have more time, or when
