An Inspirational Thought

I know a couple of people have wanted religious or Biblical thoughts left off
this list, but many more have told me they appreciate them. For those who
might find help in this, I wanted to send an except from a book called Joni by
Joni Eareckson Tada, who has been a parapeligic for 30 years. Just came across
this a few minutes ago:

"I discovered the Lord Jesus Christ could indeed empathize with my
situation. On the cross for those agonizing, horrible hours, waiting for
death, He was immobilized, helpless, paralyzed.

"Jesus did know what it was like not to be able to move -- not to be able
to scratch your nose, ... wipe your eyes. He was paralyzed on the cross. He
could not move His arms or legs. Christ knew exactly how I felt!"

"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of
our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without
sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:14-16

Hope this is a blessing to someone.
