My EMG test showed a possible carpal tunnel syndrome, but with a lesion at
C2-3 and herniated disks at C3-4 and C4-5, I can't really be sure what's
causing the numbness. I also have a few small lesions on my brain which
leaves the possibility of MS still open wide!! I still have L'hermett's Sign
too. I don't want to go through the carpal tunnel surgery only to find out
that it was not the cause. I'm also facing knee surgery for a torn meniscus,
so I must plan my surgeries carefully. I'm trying to keep my job and finish a
masters degree. I still don't know about the disks. They might also require
surgery. I went that route 10 years ago for a disk at L-5/S-1. I don't really
look forward to that again. Also, this time it would require a spinal fusion.
It scares me with the lesion so close.
