my acute tm introduction story

My name is Neta, i am an 18 year old female from Israel.
I got my acute tm at the age of 15. At the beginning
it damaged me in C-3, after a while it "went down" to C-4-5. I was respirated
for one year and a half and with a lot of breathing-exercises, effort &
motivation i got rid of it (in spite of the doctors who didn't believe
in my ability).
I was hospitalized for nearly 3 years in a rehab. center/hospital
in Jerusalem and lately moved to a new house with my family.
Today i can move my left hand (not my fingers) and hardly
my right hand. I also lost my sensation everywhere in the body except the
head & shoulders. I'm driving an electric wheel-chair, paint &
write with my mouth, swim(!) like a dolphin and do things that people are
not supposed to be able to do in my physical condition. I'm very
optimistic about my condition in the future and try to do the maximum i
can do to make my life as normal as possible.
Only lately i got the internet, and i'm very happy i
found you guys!
