My Personal Introduction

Hello, I am a 32 year old male who was diagnosed with Transverse
Myelitis at the age of 13. I have lived my entire adult life in a
wheelchair, the reason that I did not use the words "confined to a
wheelchair", is the fact that I use the wheelchair 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, but live a normal life, I travel, play all sports (except
soccer, tried it at goally but wasn't fun), and spend my day as any
other normal person would. I have a good job, a beautiful wife, good
friends and my life is pretty much complete. I finally this past week
purchased a computer and one of my goals was to find out a little more
about Transverse Myelitis and talk to others who have been afflicted
with this disease. I have never been one to socialize in any
wheelchair or disabled groups, but I felt it was time to give it the
good old college try and maybe find out a little more about the disease,
share my thoughts, maybe even help someone from my past experiences.

As I stated earlier, I have done a lot in life, I have been a camp
director in the mountains of Georgia. So I hope that you receive this
little note and will return it soon.

Sincerely,
